ARENAL VOLCANO ZIPLINING & HOT SPRINGS

Did you know that recreational ziplining got its start in Costa Rica?  First used as a way to move around the Costa Rica rainforest canopy without having to return to the ground to study each new tree, it was then patented and made into the recreational sport it is today.  This full-day, 12-hour tour gives you both the thrills of ziplining and the relaxation of hot springs, set against the stunning backdrop of the Arenal Volcano – one of the most recognized volcanoes in all of Costa Rica!  The surrounding area is rich with flora and fauna and ready for adventure.  After being picked up from your vacation rental or hotel, you’ll head off for an unforgettable adventure!  

STOP #1 – Breakfast en route to the Arenal Volcano area.  Fuel up for the day with a delicious breakfast with stunning views of Lake Arenal.

Note: Breakfast is not included in the price.

STOP #2 – Soar high above the rainforest canopy on safe and secure ziplines.  After you’ve been fitted with your safety gear and received your safety briefing, you’ll zip back and forth on 12 cables and 13 platforms, for a total route of 2.8 kilometers.  The cable distances range from 50 meters to 500 meters.  The platforms gradually increase the height and length of the routes and have beautiful panoramic views. Participants will always be accompanied by qualified instructors on each platform and throughout the tour.

STOP #3 – Enjoy a traditional lunch plus relaxing volcanic hot springs including 4 hot pools with mineral waters drawn directly from the rainforest.  Surrounded by the forest and overlooking the imposing Arenal Volcano, this is the perfect spot to unwind.  The facility has 5 thermal water pools, 2 regular water pools, and 3 slides (65m / 15m / 10m)

You can choose to leave time for exploring and souvenir shopping in the town of La Fortuna before returning to your vacation rental or hotel.
